What is Double Up Food Bucks?
Spend your CalFresh EBT dollars at participating grocery stores and double your purchasing power on CA grown produce. You must have available funds on your EBT card.
Example at a participating store: Buy $30 of CA grown produce with your CalFresh EBT card, only pay $15.
How does Double Up Food Bucks work?
1. An individual or family must be enrolled in CalFresh
2. Shop at a participating grocery store
3. Purchase fresh California grown fruits and vegetables with their CalFresh EBT card
4. Automatically earn up to $15 FREE dollars per day in their transaction! For example: You buy $30 of CA grown produce and only pay $15. Once you get your receipt, you’ll be able to see the discount under the CA grown produce department.
How do you know what items qualify for the program?
All eligible items are marked with a Double Up Food Bucks logo next to the produce signage with pricing.
